For the past few days, I've had the opportunity to participate in NNPHI's cutting-edge Open Forum for Quality Improvement in Public Health. As an NNPHI Public Health Institute, Health Resources in Action (HRiA) seeks to understand and serve the training needs of the participating health agencies.
On Wednesday, March 24, 2016, HRiA's Mo Barbosa led the second session of the Community Health Training Institute's three-part Health Equity Training Series. 81 people participated in the 90-min webinar, entitled, Engaging and Empowering Priority Communities: Health Equity in Action.
Thanks to support from MA DPH and feedback from coalitions, in June 2015, the Community Health Training Institute created a tool that makes it easy to find coalitions working towards healthier communities in Massachusetts.
The RWJF 2016 County Health Rankings are out! Coalitions and community health stakeholders across the state will find useful information and actions in the interactive report. MA DPH encourages you to share this information with others in your community and to use these data and other data sources in community health assessment and planning.
