Supporting Boys: Disrupting Negative Masculinity

This 6hr interactive training will encourage participants to explore how to support boys’ positive development. Participants will examine how sexism, heterosexism and homophobia damages boys and how the messages of masculinity (especially “negative” masculinity) impact boys. Examining positive principles for boyhood/manhood are critical to ensuring effective strategies are used to help develop healthy and positive relationships with boys.
