COVID-19 Physical Activity Mini-Grant Program, awarded by the Boston Public Health Commission.

The COVID-19 Physical Activity mini-grants will support local organizations in implementing a project to increase physical activity access for Boston residents during Spring 2021.  Funds may be used to implement a new initiative or to expand an existing initiative.  Physical activity will be defined as any aerobic and/ or anaerobic activity, including but not limited to, walking, hiking, biking, running, HIIT, bodyweight exercise, or yoga. All programming must be free to Boston residents.

Grant Application Deadline: January 31st, 2021

“Healthy Youth, Healthy Community” Racial Equity Grant Opportunity, awarded by the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation.

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation is now accepting applications for a new racial equity grants program for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color)- led organizations supporting BIPOC youth in CT, MA, ME and NH. This grants program will help BIPOC youth improve the overall health and racial equity of their community.

What: Five racial equity grants of $20,000 each. Grants will support BIPOC youth (21 and under) who are driving change and making their community healthier—from helping to provide basic needs for community members in the areas of food, shelter and health services to creating job opportunities and fostering community partnerships for advocacy or social justice.

Eligibility: BIPOC-led and 501c3 organizations serving predominantly BIPOC youth in CT, MA, ME or NH are eligible to apply. Successful applicant organizations will work directly with BIPOC youth in increasing youth-based thought leadership and action in local communities.

Grant Application Deadline: February 1, 2021 (approximately a 15 min application)
