Tips on How to Support Mothers

Clinicians play pivotal roles as potential supporters or inhibitors of breastfeeding. A scripting guide, which includes suggestions for how clinicians can more knowledgeably interact with expectant mothers who plan to breastfeed as well as provide breastfeeding mothers with additional reassuring information can be found here.

Separate subsections covering weight loss management/supplementation, hyperbilirubinemia, working with late preterm infants, and infant formula marketing in healthcare facilities are elsewhere in this CME.
