2019 Massachusetts Conference on Volunteerism

The Massachusetts Conference on Volunteerism is the only statewide convening of volunteer managers in Massachusetts.
Hosted by the Massachusetts Service Alliance, this conference will explore innovative ways to harness the power of volunteerism and turn the energy of volunteers into actionable efforts that directly impact our state’s most pressing needs.
With more than 20 highly-interactive workshops, the conference is a can’t miss event for nonprofit leaders! Workshops topics include: best practices for engaging youth, older adults, and a diverse community of volunteers; recruiting volunteers through digital storytelling; building partnerships with higher education institutions; supporting volunteer growth and longevity; and more.
Attendees will leave the conference with new skills, insights into best practices, knowledge of trends, connections to potential partners, and increased enthusiasm for tackling the big issues through engaging volunteers.
