Being an Askable Adult

What does it mean to be an “askable” adult? How do we improve our active listening skills? How do we validate questions? How do we really serve the young people we work with? Participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to explore these important questions and more. This workshop will help equip adults with tools to support the young people in their lives and to ensure the youth’s needs are being met. Participants will also have the opportunity to identify how personal values might interact with their work and will practice responding to youth questions while maintaining professional boundaries.
