PYDIC is a group of youth-serving agencies, community members, and businesses dedicated to making sure all young people have the opportunity to graduate high school, on time, with a college or career plan. We are working on this challenge by focusing on mentoring and positive relationships, hard skill development (i.e. training, career pathways) and socio-emotional development. Youth are invited to make their voice heard and inform our work, there is no formal youth council but young people often sit at the table. Contact Kat Toomey, Coordinator of Positive Youth Development at Berkshire United Way for more information. [email protected] or 413-442-6948 x 15.
