Behind the Scenes: Grant Review

GMA Foundation’s Behind-the-Scenes of Grant Review is a 3-hour workshop that gives you an inside look at the proposal review process. Session leader Prentice Zinn is well-known for his straightforward approach.¬†The goal of the workshop is to give new-to-development nonprofit staff insight into how foundations make decisions. ¬†The session will be structured around questions raised by participants. A series of hands-on activities will highlight topics such as foundation relations, the board review process, pitfalls in evaluation and budgeting, and grant-seeking strategy.
