Description: This pre-recorded webinar will be geared towards community and coalition members who want to understand different types of community health improvement processes. Presenters will summarize broad-based assessment and planning process requirements in Massachusetts. This will also include a discussion of how the Determination of Need process requires assessment and planning for community health improvement and a summary how the Determination of Needs’ Community Health Fund supports CHIP process around the State.
Audience: Newer community coalitions and community members looking to learn more about the Determination of Need funds and Community Health Improvement funding process.
Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to:
1. Understanding the connection between Determination of Need and assessment and planning processes.
2. Name the skills and capacities that make communities strong applicants for DoN’s Community Health Fund funding.
