When: Wednesday, November 14, 2018, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Join MAPC and Springboard for the Arts for this exciting workshop exploring the nuts and bolts of creative placemaking as one approach to creative community development. We will cover practical tools and strategies for working with local artists in creative placemaking and community engagement to address your community’s challenges and opportunities. Learn about impactful examples and models from across the United States from which you can create your own project suited to your local context. You will complete the day with your own plan of action.
Artists, planners, community developers, community advocates, and anyone interested in creative community development are encouraged to attend.
