Description:
As older people become a greater share of our population, we need take their needs more seriously in the planning and design of our communities. This blended webinar training will highlight key factors of the built environment that can facilitate or impede healthy aging. It will present implementable planning tools that public health workers should be aware of so they can effectively participate in community planning. This will be done through highlighting changes and updates to the Massachusetts Healthy Community Design Toolkit.
