Description: Are you working to get your community more active? This online training will provide a broad overview of how our built environments can help or hinder physical activity and the actions we can take to address this. Our trainer will introduce a new, evidence-based tool created by the Physical Activity Policy Research Network Plus (PAPRN+) with actions that people working in public health can take to effect policy, systems, and environmental change (PSE) in their communities around active living. As a result of this training, participants will be able to assess the work they are already doing and strategically plan for more physically active communities.
Trainer: Karin Valentine Goins, MPH, Research Project Director in the Division of Preventive and Behavioral Medicine at University of Massachusetts Medical School
