This free speaker series will address the challenges and importance of establishing diversity, equity, and inclusion in outdoor spaces, and will feature speakers whose work is advancing efforts to strengthen belonging and connection between communities of color and the benefits of time in nature.
Much of the Greater Boston area is home to world-class trails, conservation land, and expansive farmland. What needs to be done to ensure the benefits of green space are accessible to all? How can we ensure that people of all backgrounds feel welcome and comfortable while enjoying the outdoors?
