Responding to Trauma: Facilitating Healing in Communities

Things happen: violence and other traumatic events can occur that shake an entire community. Are your property management and resident services staff prepared to address the fall out of trauma in your communities? This training will cover how organizations can prepare a response plan to trauma within their community and equip staff with the skills to handle difficult situations.
Topics to be covered include: 
- Protocols on how staff should respond to and report an emerging issue
- Preparing staff members to help community members who have faced trauma 
- Outside resources available to help communities heal 
- Creating and implementing an organization-wide response after a traumatic event occurs
