Description: Sustainability is a key component of any successful project. It is the continued, consistent implementation of effective prevention policies, strategies, and practices. Ideally, sustainability is a part of any planning process or program from the very beginning, adaptable to changes in funding, leadership and community structure. But how is sustainability achieved? During this training participants will be introduced to the many facets of sustainability including sustaining strategies, outcomes, partnerships, and coalition infrastructure. Participants will join in an interactive case study of a coalition going through a sustainability process to learn the ABC’s of sustainability planning.
Audience: Coalition leaders and partners planning or in the process of implementing community health initiatives, including policy and systems change.
