Description: THE JOURNEY FORWARD: PUTTING OUR VALUES INTO ACTION
“This past year required the social sector to adapt to ongoing changes brought on by the COVID pandemic, renewed cries for racial justice, economic uncertainty, and attacks on our very democracy. The role of capacity builders is increasingly critical as the sector moves toward recovery and renewal.
Our efforts for forward motion must be grounded and centered in equity, justice, and inclusion as we equip ourselves and our clients for the next steps. Not only will this journey require us to think strategically about how we do our work but we must also take an honest look at who is engaged in the work. We must ask what leadership looks like in the sector as we dismantle white supremacy and shift power in the communities.”
WORKSHOPS: This year conference workshops will challenge and support us as we advance on our own lifelong learning journey forward. Workshops will improve the practice of capacity builders, including consultants, coaches, capacity building organizations, foundations/funders, researchers, graduate students, and nonprofit leaders.
Registration fee: $100-$325 depending
