Women in Development Brown Bag Program: Harnessing the Power of Collective Women’s Philanthropy

November 7, 2019 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

We’ve seen an exponential growth in women’s collective giving groups. Their power cannot be ignored. Women are joining like-minded individuals in large and small alliances to learn about philanthropy and boost their grant-giving potential. Join us as our experienced panel uncovers the power and importance of these groups and examines best practices for approaching them for grants. We’ll also look at giving groups within nonprofit organizations and discuss whether they are right for you.

Anticipated takeaways:

Understand the existing collective giving landscape. What types of groups are out there and what sets them apart?
Learn how to harness women’s collective-giving spirit to better your organization.
Determine whether a giving group is right for you.

Audience/Target Market: New and experienced fundraising professionals and individuals interested in becoming involved in collective giving groups.

Cost: $20 for members (before 10/31/19), $35 for non-members (and for members who register late, after 10/31/19)
