Working with Veterans & Their Families

Who Should Attend:
BSAS Staff

Description:
Participants attending this training will gain additional knowledge about working with Military populations and their families. Engagement and follow-up is a critical component of working with this population. BSAS personnel will develop an understanding as to how they can best assist this population increase the health and wellness of its members and families.

Learning Objectives:
Participants completing this training will be able to:

  1. Identify 2-3 additional resources for working with this population.
  2. Analyze the impact of military service on the health and well-being of the family.
  3. Formulate effective strategies for working with Native American Indians.
  4. Recognize additional areas for further training.
