Incorporating Data in Your Work

Using Data Effectively

What types of data can track progress? How do you design evaluations that track useful data? Effective coalitions continually assess and improve the quality of their work through the use of specific planning and evaluation tools: community assessments; logic models to guide the work; and monitoring and evaluation plans that are feasible to implement, identify reasonable metrics, and address an agreed-upon vision of success among community partners. The presenter will review and discuss important considerations and potential challenges encountered when using data to evaluate progress

Using Data to Tell Your Story

How can we use data and numbers to tell a compelling story about the work we do? How can we use numbers not only to share what we’ve accomplished in our programs but also show the impact that our work has made in communities?  This webinar will explore ways to effectively use data in grant proposals, reporting, marketing, and more.
