Gina Rodriguez

Gina Rodriguez serves as the Senior Project Manager for the Community Health Training Institute. Gina identifies and manages trainers; provides guidance on training curricula; builds and manages online courses; leads participant recruitment efforts; leads all marketing and communication activities; and manages the analysis of evaluation data to support ongoing quality monitoring and improvement.

Gina Rodriguez is a Boston native, born and raised. Her work experience and passion includes over ten years of working with youth and adults in the City of Boston. In her decade of involvement with non-profit programming, Gina has built up her skills in interactive training and facilitation. She has facilitated trainings for over 400 youth, has worked in the classrooms with Boston Public School teachers and has forged relationships between the Boston Police Department and community members in some of Boston’s most disenfranchised neighborhoods. Most recently, Gina has been working with pregnant and parenting teens at Crittenton Women’s Union, mentoring and providing one-on-one services to help them achieve their goals (a cause she holds dear to her heart since she herself was a mother at a young age and was able to receive support and guidance from her own mentors). Gina received her youth worker certification from Boston After School and Beyond, and she also recently graduated from the Paraprofessional Development Program through the Boston Public School Office of Human Capital. She has a myriad of educational knowledge and years of training experience that will strengthen and enrich The Community Health Training Institute and the Peer Leaders Promoting Safe Driving Initiative, the two projects she will be managing.
