Since life stressors are varied in nature, and come from all directions, a multi-tiered plan is necessary to navigate around the multi-layered nature of burning out to reach a place of personal strength.
In this “retreat day,” participants will discover on-the-spot strategies, mid-length strategies, and long-term strategies for building strength in relationship to stressors. This three-tiered approach will be especially effective for those whose work is more analogous to a marathon than a sprint. Using an instructional workbook, each participant will explore techniques that can be personally effective in real life, and create an individualized action plan to take home.
Our day starts at 10:15am with mindfully eating snacks. (Snacks will be provided.) In addition, this workshop will include lectures, Q&A, a short meditation and an “at your desk” style stretching/yoga routine.
