The once-a-month conversations will focus on different community engagement topics to support this work within your own community and introduce you to the services MAPC offers when you work with the MAPC Community Engagement Team. In this training, you will gain an understanding of how to build core foundational relationships with members of your community, key partners, and others.
Purpose:
- Gain a group understanding of community engagement principles, strategies, and frameworks
- Create a space for attendees to share barriers they face around community engagement
- Introduce you to the MAPC Community Engagement Team and how they can support your work
