Description
What does it mean to do “community engagement” and what are the variety of avenues to communicate, collaborate, and co-lead with your community?
Community Engagement in Collective Impact will focus on foundational concepts and practices around community engagement. This workshop will also review a series of tools for planning community engagement to be more purposeful, equitable, transparent, and strategic so that community residents and grassroots leaders are true partners for achieving impact.
This session includes a half-day workshop on Thursday, June 5 from 1pm – 4:00pm ET, as well as a copy of the workshop presentation, and access for three months to the workshop recording after the event.
Audience
This workshop is designed for participants who are new to thinking about how to embed community engagement into their collective impact work and are looking for foundational practices and approaches.
