Presented by the Community Health Training Institute
Description: Healthy people require healthy places. PolicyLink holds health equity as an essential component of a society that values the well-being of all people. Amanda will speak to a framework for understanding the ingredients to ensure movement toward a more equitable and healthier community, which include policy advocacy tools, research and data analysis, and coalition-building consultation. Broad sectors are working together to create solutions to the complex problem of health inequities. She will lift up solutions that are grounded in strengthening communities, engaging non-health sectors, lift up promising practices, progressive policy options, and research gaps that can make the case for prioritizing health equity.
