Public health and community development share many challenges, from the national shortages of affordable housing to responses to climate impacts on community infrastructure and health, just to name a few.

This webinar will explore how racial equity is understood in these two sectors and where public health and community development collaborations have been successful in improving population health and health equity and what it will take to move us forward.

The speakers will also discuss the recent launch of a primer that supports public health and community development collaboration for health equity, created from a partnership between Build Healthy Places Network and the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors.
