Today’s workforce is truly multigenerational and likely to have four if not five different generations across an organization. This creates challenges in communication, work practices, and expectations, but it also creates significant opportunities, as different generations bring a variety of experiences and diverse skills. Explore the dynamics of the contemporary workforce and strategies for blending the talents and abilities to optimize productivity and collaboration.
Training Outcomes:
1. Become familiar with current data and research around generational diversity as well as emerging trends in the workplace.
2. Identify characteristics and priorities of the variety of generations interacting in the contemporary workplace.
3. Identify ways the multigenerational organization provides opportunities for change.
4. Explore strategies that bridge the gap between generations and are effective in creating a more powerful multigenerational workforce.
